Brief: Create a large open-plan kitchen/garden room as part of a larger country house refurbishment. The extension was to connect with the large garden, a new patio and provide a light lofty interior whilst sitting comfortably next to the rear of the country house.

Outcome: The large open plan space projects to the rear offering great garden views on 3 sides. The flat crowned roof with 2.5x4.5m and 2x3m roof lanterns provide a high ceiling and light interior. The handcrafted oak kitchen by Waites, with worktop by Southern Counties Marble and Granite provide great class to the room. The dogs are very happy too with their marble-lined dog bowls, and articulated water tap!

Finished internally in time for Christmas, the exterior patio and rendering works will be completed in Spring; we look forward to seeing the finished article then.
